To write takes a special
kind of ability. And finding that ability, honing it and keeping at it requires
a special kind of courage.
The first things most writers write about have a lot to do with things they
feel deeply about. Things that they hold dear to their hearts. And to expose
these feelings, and risk their being torn apart by mostly unfeeling, unthinking
critics requires, to say the least, raw courage.
Once that happens, to keep going, keep refining, keep finding new things to
write about, new things to say - this takes both dedication and a kind of
spirit that's found only in a few.
Only after this does
the whole process of writing till the art is perfected and experimenting with
it till the right blend of all the ekements is found, take place. This takes
a strong sense of individuality.
And it is the culmination
of all these that you find in places like Zine5.
This is a tribute to
those who have, over the past six months shown remarkable courage and resilience
and have kept Zine5 going. Thank you, and may you keep writing.
Cheers.
