		The Editorial on Zine5 has been a little space that I have been using to sound off every Monday. The decision to archive them and make them available to new readers was influenced totally by what is generally termed "popular opinion." Here is a collection of all the editorials that I have written for Zine5. A few editorials vanished, victims of a non-technical effort to do something very technical. All the others are here. 		Big Brother Human rights, animal rights, war, peace, terrorism, anti-terrorism, conservation, deforestation, pollution - everything that means anything is "defined" by this nation... Curb Your Kid We have too many people who get into the business of being parents without the slightest inkling of the responsibilities it entails... Big City Blues City managers do not seem to have the foresight that such people need to have. Murder Most Foul I am of course referring to my pet hate - bad English on television. The Peter Principle According to the Peter Principle, a person rises to his or her level of incompetency. These People They almost accused the tribal people of standing in the way of progress, and frequently referred to them as though they were somehow less than us. Animal Activism for Fun and Profit Animal rescue is something that requires great skill, dedication and training. It is a field for experts, and should not be indulged in by weekend animal rights warriors. Disposable? It is disconcerting to see that "disposable plastics" has in no way been defined. It will have to be determined by the enforcing authority on a case to case basis. Which means what is disposable in one case will not be in another. Whose Life Is It Anyway? ...there is yet another thing that is stalking mankind. Something more terrible, more remorseless and more inexorable than the nameless, faceless, nebulousness called terrorism. In and Out The three basic 'needs' that make the human mind human are hunger, sex and aggression. Happy Birthday! Birth... ...is perhaps the most traumatic experience in a person's life. Of course, none of us remembers it, but the scars we carry lifelong. Space Jam When we have our spaces and zones with our own rules and regulations, we must also recognize that others have spaces and zones too. Sub Judice "Don't be judgemental." How often have we heard this? How often have we... The Gods must be Deaf Where I live, it happens to be that part of the year when the local place of worship welcomes each morning with screaming loudspeakers blaring unmusical encomiums to the powers that be...
