Ecstasy
The stars gazed on lazily,
As the clouds closed in on them,
The wind swayed the trees around,
The ground beneath slipped away...
As a feeling of euphoria took over
And the whole world seemed to sway...
Large droplets of rain
Seemed to fuel the emotions,
With a soft humming that surpassed
All limits of so-called sanity...
The pleasure, the touch, the warmth
So pure, so peaceful, devoid of vanity...
The heat of the moment
Led to the abyss of passion,
The charisma of this unnatural bliss
Played like a labyrinth of joys...
Every turn, a victory, every twist,
A reason to rejoice...
And finally, when the
nectar
Flowed out of the beautiful flower
Into the butterfly's bosom,
Those cherished moments swiftly flew by...
The insect departed, rising upwards,
Into the dark night sky.
