Writing can be a profession, a leisure pursuit or a passion. It can also be all the three. Like it is for Mina Govindan. Working as Technical Writer for the Bangalore branch of a US-based multinational, Mina writes for pleasure as well. Occasionally she gets so inspired by certain people or situations, that she immerses herself in entirety into a subject and writes passionately.
Mina is a Commerce graduate, who also holds a diploma in Advertising and Communication. She is currently doing a Masters program in Journalism and Mass Communication.
To her, independence and a sense of humor are vital. Her most prized possession is her confidence and the one thing she takes with her ubiquitously is her smile.
She loves poetry, painting, dance and pets. She enjoys browsing the Internet and making friends online. Her other interests include decorating and letter writing. Come Saturday night, and Mina is transformed into a fierce party animal who lets loose on the dance floor.
She speaks from the heart; diplomacy is not her forte. She believes in the intrinsic goodness of things around her, and always follows her instincts. She can be extremely rational and matter-of-fact on the one hand, and exceptionally idealistic and dotty on the other. In all, she is an unconventional blend of success and fiasco.
