In honour of Mother's
Day
She expanded, stretched,
let me grow
With her lifeblood, within her
Now I have no room to house
Or accommodate her today.
She washed, cleaned
the dirt
And my defecations with delight
Her habits and thoughtless words
Shame and embarrass me today
She taught me with
patience to walk
Talk, read and develop my personality
I havent the time to visit, exchange
News or entertain her today
She deflected arrows,
pointed barbs
And fiercely protected me
I hurt her every moment with impatience
Contempt and discourtesy today
She nurtured and
cherished me
With love and single mindedness
Newfound ties and relations
Are priorities for me today
She agonised, fasted
and prayed
For my well-being and welfare
I cant even wait to perform
The last rites for her today
