Bringing
Up or Breeding? (27th March 2002)
The central
element in the conversation was, as I call it, 'kid planning' - how can
we provide the best facilities to our kids. One guy piped up, "I looked
up this website recommended by my doctor - and we played different kinds
of classical music for my wife when she was a few weeks from delivery...

Salida (27th February 2002)
...it is
tough to teach mathematics to someone who must survive the calculus of the
street to get to school. This poem is dedicated to those students in the
"city" who must tread that road less traveled.
When the Magic Failed (20th February 2002)

The Spell (13th February 2002)
He pauses
in disbelief, unable to contain a stare./She gazes absently from her window,
a beauty ever so rare.
Instinct (6th February 2002)
Each candidate
was screened thoroughly, and put through a gruelling set of technical and
personal interviews spanning three days. Only the top two or three percent
were offered positions...
