Here's how YOU can get on Zine5!

Zine5 is a showcase of creative writing.

Writing for the web is at once easy and difficult, easy because of the almost infinite flexibility of the medium, difficult because of a myriad reasons, ranging from the writer's block to the almost butterfly-like qualities of the reader, who flits from page to page, barely pausing in between.

Contributions to Zine5 can be in whatever form you choose to write in - prose, poetry, fiction - and on any subject. We also welcome reviews of books, movies, music, and web sites. We have only one advice to give you - keep your work short and you have more chances of grabbing the readers' attention. If you want to write long pieces, you can serialise your work.

On Zine5, we have two types of writers - Feature Writers and Irregulars. If you would like to be a Feature Writer on Zine5, it would mean regular contributions from you, usually weekly. Send us three samples of your writing and a brief profile of yourself as a writer. Our editorial team will go through it and get back to you with more details.

If you would like to contribute, but without a deadline, then you can write as an Irregular. Just send us your piece and we shall put it up in the Irregulars section, after the editorial team takes a look at it. Simple enough?

At Zine5, we do not pay for contributions. Zine5 is solely a showcase for your work and we do not make any claim on the copyright of your works.
