As for me, I have one such learning experience that happened to me earlier this year. I planned a one day conference all by myself. This conference consisted of two rooms, one with speakers and one with vendors.

I did not mention to him that I am a vegetarian and don’t eat meat, but did mention to him that to me these foods are exotic because when I am at home I usually eat very spicy food, food from India and other countries. He looked at me, amazed.
